Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH)
This class will immerse each student into an interactive environment where they are instructed on how to scan,
test, hack, and secure their own systems. This live instructor led training course will provide each student
the practical experience and in-depth skill set needed in order to protect today's sensitive networks and data
security systems. Students will begin by understanding how perimeter defenses work and then be led into
scanning and attacking their own networks. Students then learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps
are taken to secure a system. Students will also be instructed on Intrusion Detection, Policy Creation,
Social Engineering, DDoS Attacks, Buffer Overflows and Virus Creation. By learning the same methodologies and
tools used by hackers, as well as the ethics of White Hat Hacking, students return to the office with the
skills needed to provide real evidence of weaknesses and real assurance that current controls are working properly.
Why choose Logical Security's training over another company?
- Logical Security's instructors are also professional consultants. This provides each student unparalleled expertise and guidance that a purely academic instructor cannot. Instead of just preparing you for the exam, we go one step further and prepare you for the duties expected of a CEH certified professional.
- Logical Security's lists of high profile clients are unmatched.
- Every student is provided with Official EC-Council CEH Curriculum Kits and Training Materials.
What to expect from Logical Security in a CEH class:
Our popular 5-day class provides live instruction and in-class material. We focus not only on preparing you
for the exam, but provide you with real world skills and education. The goal of our CEH course is to provide
you with all the knowledge you need to be proficient in security concepts, principles, and methodologies.
By attending this course, you will explore the contents and concepts that make up the CEH common body of knowledge.
With our real world examples and in-depth detailed coursework, you will be able to learn the different domains,
standards and guidelines that pertain to information security professionals and demonstrate through your newly
acquired skills how they must be implemented in order to secure and protect business and information security
infrastructures, and keep companies up-to-date on today's business and security strategies, technologies, and
best practices.
Who Should Attend
This course will significantly benefit security officers, auditors, security professionals, site administrators,
and anyone who is concerned about the integrity of the network infrastructure. This course will fulfill your
DoD 8570 requirements.
Certification
Prior to receiving his or her CEH certification, each student will need to pass the EC-Council CEH (312-50)
examination. You will receive a Prometric Certification Examination Voucher to use for taking the exam after
the completion of the Logical Security Certified Ethical Hacking Class.
Legal Agreement
Our Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures course mission is to educate, introduce and demonstrate hacking tools
for penetration testing purposes only. Prior to attending this course, you will be asked to sign an agreement
stating that you will not use your newly acquired skills for illegal or malicious purposes and you will not
use such tools in an attempt to compromise any computer system, and to reassure EC-Council with respect to
the use or misuse of these tools, regardless of intent.
